Our first HVAC UNIT we bought from Ehlers lasted and performed wonderfully for almost 25 years!! In the summer of 2024 while we were having our summer maintenance performed, the technician advised us that our unit was out of date and they were no longer making any replaceable parts. We have the utmost confidence in Ehlers and we know that the technicians do not work off of commission. The technician also advised us that in 2025, all HVAC systems would not be the “Freon” systems. The new systems will be twice as expensive to buy and maintain. (The air conditioner was already starting to give us trouble and we had already paid for a couple of emergency repairs). So we took his advice and bought the new HVAC SYSTEM. Ehlers helped me set up a great financial plan using “Michigan Saves”. We are also on their maintenance plan which I highly recommend. For a once a year charge, Ehlers will come out to your house and replace your filters, clean your units, make any adjustments that might be needed. You get a nice discount on any replacement parts, like filters. Today our technician was Joe Diggs-Jones and I just can’t say enough about his professionalism, his knowledge and kindness. Both my husband and I are disabled. Both of us have brain damage and can get confused easily. Joe took his time to explain everything to us. He told us about the new product called “Air Scrubber”. And it does exactly what the name is! Scrubs the air as it recycles it. I have asthma and COPD, plus we have an adorable dog. After discussing this with my husband, I’m pretty sure we’re going to get this unit. I’m going to ask for Joe to come out and install it. Because he is just the best! I would definitely recommend Ehlers Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone needing a new HVAC SYSTEM. Thank you Joe! Thank you Joe!
