I have been coming to Bayview Optical since I was seven years old. I’ve never found a reason to find a new optometrist; the entire staff is always welcoming and offers beverages while you wait. They are all very well informed to give you the best prices and options for contacts and prescriptions, while also providing great stylistic advice when you just need a second opinion on a set of glasses you’re trying on. Dr. Blaize also works very efficiently so you are not there for your appointment for too long, but he still addresses all your needs just as well. I have been a patient of Dr. Blaize for about 4 years. Dr. Blaize and his team has done amazing job taking care of my various eye issues when many other doctors were unable to help me in the past. Today in particular he caught an issue in my retina. After sending to a specialist, the retina specialist said 8/10 doctors would have missed the issue and in a week I would have lost complete vision in my eye. I have lived an hour away from the office for about 3 years now and as long as I am living in the state of Michigan, I will not be seeing anyone else.
