Reid staff member Dawn went above and beyond for our family after our loss right from the time she came to the hospital to meet with us and take our loved one. She was respectful of our feelings and had many calls and texts for over a month after our loss. Very caring. Also made many calls she did not need to do. Highly recommend Dawn and Reid Funeral Home.
Friendly folks here. And if you're sitting at the bar you have a beautiful view of lake superior. A wonderful deck to go out and sit on and enjoy your cocktails, food, and the lake.

I love this vet clinic!! They are so great at answering all my questions, are so friendly, and don’t charge too much. They’ve helped me to get my dog to lose weight, have done a surgery for her that came out great, and are super accommodating to me needing to leave her there for long periods due to me living in Houghton.
Am in the area travelling and needed a haircut - nothing special I thought. I can honestly say that this was by far the best experience that I have ever had in a barber shop - first time I have ever had ears, nose, etc. waxed. If you are in the area and in need of a haircut, give Mo's Cutz a try.
