This was my first time trying a salt room. It was great. I went into the lounge and there were different seating options for you to enjoy while relaxing. (A slab, rocks, or lounge chairs). When done they give you a little broth and some water to hydrate you. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other options they offer!
Also, staff was very friendly. Answered all my questions (and I had many), showed me the other rooms/options, and products they have for sale.
I am a big fan of the benefits that Pink Himalayan Salt provides. There are a few different services the Pink Lounge offers at their Kentwood location. I prefer to lay in one of the private specially designed dry salt beds. The plexiglass layer above the warm lights while you lay on top of the pink hamillion salt sounds uncomfortable, but it's extremely restful, warm, and relaxing. The salt allows the body to rest and start to naturally heal. Breathing in the microscopic salt particles provides many health and wellness benefits. The price of $40.00 I found is very reasonable for the hour worth of rest and recovery. Highly recommend.
