“Been going here for a few years. The good: They accept Medicaid. I've always felt like I got good service & an optometrist who's knowledgeable and personable. The not-so-good: She recommended a specific over-the-counter dry eye product that she also sells from among a whole line of OTC eye products in her office. They're expensive. I don't care for upselling like this in a medical professional's office. Some dermatologists do this too. That should not be. It presents a conflict of interest. Peddling optional products in a shoestore, beauty salon or car repair shop is no big deal because those provide things that have little to do with health and safety. Eye health (and dermatology) are different. I don't like my medical professionals to get commissions by recommending certain (pricey) products over others...that they just "happen" to sell in their offices. I bought a similar product at Walgreens for a fraction of the cost.“
