Doctors of Physical Therapy (previously Mid Michigan Physical Therapy Specialists)

Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPT) is a great place if you need PT. Sarah is an excellent Physical Therapist-extremely knowledgeable, kind and a good listener to get a sense of your injury/pain and devise the best plan/therapy to recover, build strength and, if possible, prevent future injuries. I highly recommend DPT.

In January of this year I was diagnosed with a condition called Ramsey Hunt Syndrome which is a condition caused by shingles, I had shingles in my ear and surrounding area that affected the Vestibular Nerve, Cranial nerves and facial nerve. Because of all these nerves being affected I had no balance and severe dizziness, also because of the facial nerve I also had Bells Palsy. I started Vestibular rehab in April with Drs of Physical therapy in Howell, at fist I wasn't able to walk very well on my own but after 8 weeks of therapy I was able to walk with good balance and drive myself to last few appointments for first time since January. To say that I would highly recommend this physical therapy establishment would be an understatement. My therapist, John Dean, was beyond knowledgeable in terms of body structure and how to treat various issues. He was professional, efficient, caring, and an extremely good listener. He gave me results that I was not able to attain at other therapy places. In addition to John, Chloe, the receptionist, was efficient, thorough, caring, and very friendly and welcoming . She was a delight to interact with. I will definitely return if other issues arise within my body.
