Swine Veterinary Services-Michigan

My sister and I are pet/house sitting and one of the pets is a 16-yr old potbelly pig. On Sunday morning she wouldn't come out of her igloo, and it looked like she might be dying. We had no idea what to do! Btw, I am 72, my sister 67. We called vets, Googled pig care, and got no direction; so we left her alone and prayed she wouldn't die! I had never heard of 4 Star Veterinary Service until I was calling all over looking for help for my potbellied pig, Kramer, who was very sick. Unfortunately, by the time I got the name/number, my pig was on death's door. However, the clinic gave me the phone number to reach Dr. Brown, even though he was currently out of state. He called me back and spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me giving me ideas on how to help my pig. Kramer was already in shock and didn't make it but we adopted a 3 month old pig right away after. We took him to Dr. Brown for castration and vaccines.
