After retiring, I decided to learn to play a new instrument so I began inquiring about a mandolin teacher. A friend of a friend of a friend. . .told me the good things he heard about MAFM and Nate. I'm so happy I was pointed in his direction. I highly enjoy my lessons and have progressed much faster than I thought possible. Nate makes learning fun! He's super patient, always encouraging, and always positive. I'm learning tons of new musical skills and credit Nate's teaching with my continued progress.

I have 5 children involved this program and our lives have been changed forever. The sense of community that has developed along with the skill and relationships built havwe helped us make this opportunity a priority in our lives. Nate and Jess and the interns are dedicated to music and teaching and encouraging the students on their music journey! I highly recommend this program. On a different angle MAFM also provides a community presence to host different artists from all over the world. If you can make any of the performances, I promise that you will not be disappointed. Thank you Nate Roberts and Jess for your time, love and energy that has and does go into bring our community together through music!

My son loves his lessons and ensemble group. He is progressing quickly because of the gifted, dedicated teaching at MAFM!
