Nye Construction Co

We suffered through a Nye Construction debacle starting in 2018 in St Ignace and he never really finished the job. We were left to finish most of the fine details and correct some shoddy workmanship. He arranged to get the house to our site but showed actually no interest in finishing the job. If we wanted our home finished it was clearly not his concern. He will promise much and deliver little. No subcontractors we spoke with wanted to work with him and we ended up paying them directly. Do not get taken advantage by this company / Owner.

Absolute WORST experience ever. He ruined our dream of building a retirement home. Only showed up every 17-20 days on average, and typically would send over his 'crew' of whoever is available to do TERRIBLE quality work. LIED to us on nearly ALL claims and I had to find people to do work that he wouldn't do. There are still dozens of issues that I have to pay to resolve or do myself. He didn't provide a porta-potty at the job site, and his crew 'used the property' as their bathroom. Gross and disgusting defines the messes we had to clean up. Request a quote for their online website several times and never received a response, so I called the company direct and inquired on the quotes. Both times I was told I would be contacted back and still have not received a response. Do not waste your time or your money on this company as they are very unprofessional and do not appear to want your business.
