“Three months ago I got my first nose piercing by Chase. The women at the front desk was friendly, they had nice jewelry to choose from, definitely a lot of options. I was a nervous reck, but Chase was super cool and it was done in all of 5 seconds. And the healing process was so easy and it turned out great. I love it. I definitely will be booking another appoint by Chase to get my second nose piercing on the 24th for my birthday on the 26th. Plus, I have severe Nickel allergy and its hard finding jewelry that is free of it, and theirs is.“

“Very solid experience, first time getting a tattoo and I was taken very well care of. The design itself was a departure from my initial sketch but we worked on it and aligned on something I love. The environment was clean but the staff could've been a little more welcoming, I felt like I was comforting myself for my first tattoo. All around, great first experience!“

“I had my nose double pierced for about 4 years and my nose closed recently. Pap pierced me and I was so scared to get it redone because I heard about the pain levels but he got me through the process quickly. He also corrected the alignment of my nose piercings and they look better than before.“

It was a quick tattoo but Heath was wonderful through the whole process, he took what I wanted and was able to do it exactly as I had pictured. The cover-up was to cover up in abusive exes tattoo, and the rose was to cover scars and both times he made the experience absolutely wonderful and the environment was so relaxing that I literally fell asleep on the chair. “My friend and I did a stay at the room here that was listed on AirBNB, which also gets you free admission into The Schvitz as well during your stay, so it was really cute! The room itself (a bedroom and a living room space) was super cutely decorated and the perfect amount of room for the two of us doing an overnight stay. The overall Convent space is pretty interesting and unlike anywhere I've ever stayed before. The downstairs space is a very large rooms/event spaces that are all decorated with bits of art from local artists that you can purchase and is independently run from the AirBNB. There was an event they were setting up for in the downstairs space for later that evening when we showed up and I believe the event happened and was taken down in the span of time it took for us to go out to dinner and come back, so that was interesting lol! The upstairs space is a long hallway with various different businesses in rooms on either side of the hall, with the high majority of these businesses focused on holistic healing and arts. My friend and I took advantage of our close proximity to these businesses and booked individual sessions with an energy healer that did energy readings of us, which was very enlightening for the both of us! The bathroom for the AirBNB is communal and located at the end of the hallway on this second floor closest to the AirBNB, but I assume that everyone in the building can access it as it has two stalls, two sinks, and a shower if you're so inclined as well. All in all, it was a good experience and I'm glad to have done it, but I don't know that I would personally do it again. I felt a steady level of anxiousness the entire time I was here, which I'm not entirely sure where that came from, but I think I could just chalk it up to me being in a space where I didn't feel completely safe even though there wasn't anything specific that made me feel unsafe here by any means. I just felt a tiny bit on edge the entire time I was here.“

“I absolutely love traditional tattoos and after serving in the military and getting away from military towns it was very hard to find an artist and shop I would give my business to. A family friend had recommended Martin at Grand Blvd Tattoo and I’m glad he did. Absolutely amazing establishment. Martin’s communication and professionalism leading up to my appointment is second to none. He answered all my questions in a timely manner and at this point I knew I was in good hands. Appointment day, I show up, explain what I want and he worked with me making sure what I envisioned was what I got. The shop environment is very warm and welcoming, the staff there is friendly and Martin was as professional in person as he was via messaging. Very clean place, very by the books in terms of set up, sanitation and tattoo aftercare. I always respect artists who respect the craft and take pride in their work. This place is second to none and i absolutely have no problem going back for the rest of the work I get over my lifetime. If you’re shopping around for a tattoo shop/ artist stop your search here because the bar is very high here.“

He took the time to explain everything he was doing and was the most personable & down to earth artist I have ever been tattooed by. His work is unbelievable and he listens when you have a suggestion about changing something in your piece. Matt added to a forearm piece I already had and so far it looks awesome. Matt’s prices were 100% worth every penny, his work is beyond amazing. I’m looking forward to my next session with great anticipation and I do not think I’ll be going to anyone else for a long time.
