doing use this company! The company was rude supposed to repair my bricks in the front of my house, they did the job and it looks worse or than what it was. They also told on walls inside my home and the walls are still down and this job was supposed to take 3 to 5 days. It's been a month and I have been calling we have had conversations back-and-forth but over a week ago. He said he will be here to finish the job and we do the wall. I have not heard from him in over a week and a half.

If the scores go from 1 to 5, Heritage is a -5 stars. Avoid. To answer Mr. Brown 1) Why does it matter if a person lives in Michigan or Wisconsin? I was living with my mother at the time, you met me at the house when the whole contract was written out and the temporary roof was installed to overwinter. I was in the house when I called you in August, in September, and in November. I was calling you BECAUSE you were not returning my mother's call AND THE LAWYER told me you were expecting my call. I was in Detroit whenever my mother was in the hospital for an overnight. When you finally returned my November call 9 DAYS LATER ,yes omg I was visiting Wisconsin. YOU treated me as my mother's agent, I explained in a text message, which I kept, that I was not. I was just her ears since she sometimes had trouble hearing everything on the phone. My brother ALSO lives in Detroit as does my mother's lawyer WHO CALLED YOU TWICE because you were not returning my mother's calls. What a lame, whiny excuse. 2) You never called my mother back when she called multiple times, except once 5 weeks after you were originally slated to started the job. And THEN you sent people to clean the gutters, which she didn't ask for and wasn't going to pay for. She sent them away. She was appalled you were ignoring her and you NEVER called from that point on. So you're lying about wanting to speak to her vs me, wherever I might be standing. 3) You never mentioned the color of slate until this review. You told the LAWYER you were going to start the first week of August. It then became September, then November when the LAWYER had me call you again! The color of slate was never an issue. We believe you never bought the slate in first place, as summer ended so did the supply of slate. I know, I was looking for slate for another roofer in August at a variety of supply companies. So this is another lie. 4) The whole roof was in poor shape, I believe you were stringing my folks along for years to scam money off of the elderly. The people who shingled the back of the garage roof ( color didn't matter, no one see it), were dismayed and photo documented the way it was left and noted the whole roof needed work. I photographed that as well. You're a conman, if not inept. 5) YOU STILL HAVE ALL HER MONEY! What higher ground are you trying to stand? Me being out of state? You Never contacting my mother? You never showing up on 4 dates you said you'd be there? You are so arrogant. You haven't returned a dime, not even a percentage if you did buy slate ( laughable). Everything you wrote in your reply demonstrates how weak your excuses are. And all complete lies. How did your lawsuit end with the other reviewer.? We both know the answer. Never use Heritage Roofers!

Update in response to owner: This has NOTHING to do with my gutters. They were cleaned and protected with gutter guards. The birds were nesting in the eves under my porch, not the gutters, because the Heritage roofers failed to (among their numerous failings) properly secure soffit moldings. Ed Brown was as attentive to reading this review as he was to my job (it took him two years to read it, and he STILL couldn't get the basic details right). I sued Heritage almost two years ago and won. Ed Brown never bothered to respond, despite being personally served. In the nearly two years since I have not gotten a single cent of my judgement. Ed Brown is a liar and con artist who has defrauded multiple customers. I really wish I had checked his license history with the state prior to hiring him. This wasn't his first rodeo with losing a license.
