Service Professor is a business that has been providing top-rated HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services to homeowners in the Grand Rapids area since 1978. They are known for their exceptional service, high-quality work, and commitment to the safety and comfort of their customers' homes and families. One customer, Torin, needed help with a combo boiler that went out in late November. He and his wife called several places but couldn't find anyone who could come out until the following week. They then called Service Professor and were able to have a technician, Jerry Lopez, come out the very next morning. Jerry was courteous, polite, friendly, and professional, and was able to diagnose the problem within 30 minutes. He provided a price quote for the part and discussed replacing the old system. Jerry then arranged for another technician, Tommy Martin, to come out that afternoon to give them a quote to replace everything. Tommy even loaned them three space heaters to keep the house warm until the new system could be installed. Torin said he would recommend Service Professor to everyone he knows. Another customer needed help with a sewer backup that occurred on the day after Thanksgiving. She called Service Professor and they were open and did not charge holiday rates. Landyn was sent out that day and was able to auger out the sewer pipes, which were wrapped in roots. He scheduled a camera inspection for the following Monday. Tanner came out on Monday and ran a camera through the line, showing the customer cracked pipes and a "forest" of roots. He laid out all the customer's options and explained them in detail. Dylan and his crew were at the customer's house for almost 10 hours on Wednesday, installing a new pipe. The customer was working and only saw a little of the process, but found it fascinating. Dylan was able to save the customer from needing an extraction, even though there were large holes in two sections of the pipe. Bree came out on Friday to replace a broken seal on a hose that had been disconnected during the installation process. The customer was very appreciative of the service she received from everyone at Service Professor. Another customer, Bree, had a positive experience with technicians Bree and Ray. Bree was thorough, friendly, and explained everything in detail. She showed the customer pictures of the grease build-up in the pipes, which was from the previous owners, and explained how they could avoid this in the future.
