About Mariam's African Hair Braiding
Mariam's African Hair Braiding is a nice shop where customers can get their hair braided. The braiders are nice and gentle, and they do a great job. One customer's baby girl got her hair braided and it looked great. Another customer got single twist braids and was in and out of the shop quickly. The shop takes last-minute appointments and has a team of braiders who work efficiently. Prices are reasonable, with one customer paying $150 for children's braids and another paying $90 for braids that are normally more expensive. Overall, Mariam's African Hair Braiding provides good service and has gained a forever client.
Took my baby girl there to get her hair braided last minute. Nice shop the woman who braided her hair was nice and gentle looked great when finished. Didn’t discuss price figured for children braids it wouldn’t be too much they charged me 150 including hair and beads! Only complaint but it was cute and she was gentle in her hair.
A young lady named saydah came in at 8 and they open at 9 to do my hair she was nice on time and got down to her job without hesitation she was fast I was out of there before 11:00am the lady that came to help her was the total opposite .Pulling and snatching and combing my hair aggressively, she kept apologizing, but she kept doing it..Got dipped and she asked me did I want a Halo, I said no leave it down I have a towel in my truck and she did one anyway , I don't know if she was a hater a demon or just don't like brown American women, but I will pray for whichever one it is so she can be happy to be in America l got single twist
These reviews had me scared! So my braider canceled on me literally last second. As I scoured the internet for someone who could take me very last minute I found Miriam’s. I called just knowing there was no way someone would take me BUT the woman that answered the phone said come at 2 (it was 10am when I called) when I first arrived I was very confused because the woman in the front didn’t speak so I just stood there awkwardly thinking she was who I’d talked to and it looked like she was no where near done with the head she was on.
