“Our roof started leaking into our kitchen ceiling about 2 weeks ago. We had several different companies come out to give us estimates. Michael B from Veenkamp came to our house to give us an estimate. He arrived at his scheduled time. He was polite, professional, honest & had excellent communication with us during the whole process. We are in the process of getting scheduled for the roof replacement on our house & garage. Michael B even agreed to have someone come out and seal the areas that are leaking until they can replace the whole roof so it doesn't cause more damage to out ceiling. So far, this company has been amazing to work with and made the process so easy. I give them 5 stars so far as of right now and will update the review once the project is all complete.<br><br>Update: The crew arrived at 7am on the date they said they would and got the whole roof done on both the garage and house in one day. The next day someone from the company came out and cleaned everything up and picked up all the extra materials. Michael B, Tommy and Jelly Bean all have been outstanding to work with & are excellent at what they do. They made sure everything was done to our satisfaction before we paid the final invoice. “Home improvement projects are not my favorite. Some are better than others, but in our case we needed a new roof. And new electrical. And insulation. And it all needed to be done at the same time. This was not my favorite.<br><br>Managing a project like this, as a homeowner, is daunting. Drew came to my rescue in a huge way. Not only was he thorough and helpful and amazing with his insulation part of the project, he co-managed basically the entire project with me. It was so important to him that everything go smoothly for our project. As with all big projects there were unforeseen issues (pretty major in this case) but he and his crew thought of creative solutions that would get us the best possible outcome while keeping the roofing and electrical crews also on schedule.<br><br>In the end, the project finished as we expected and we are very happy with the results. Our house has maintained temperature much better and it actually feels more comfortable as a result. I was skeptical neither of these would actually be true given how our roof is constructed so I am pleasantly surprised.<br><br>More importantly, Drew and his team truly cared and we felt taken care of. This has not been typical in our construction/contractor experience so they were a wonderful breath of fresh air. While we hope to not need their services again, they would hands down be our first call for any future project we may have. We made the mistake of not servicing the generator we had at our old hour for years, and it didn't kick on after a bad storm. Never again. “Had them do an absolutely massive remodel for me. Knock down an enclosed patio and had them build a new living room, bedroom with en-suite and walk in closet and remodel a bedroom. Chris the lead carpenter is very knowledgeable and responsive. Leah the designer and project leader was caring and attentive. It was a good experience and I would work with them. I wanted a contractor who could see my vision and execution with minimal management on my end and they made it a stress free as can be, but with any remodel or construction it takes times and there are hiccups. I’d hire them again to do more work on my place. The trim work they did is beautiful.“

“Chapton Construction was the first contractor I contacted that actually got back to me in a quick and timely manner. While others took days/weeks to respond, Chapton replied within minutes/hours. I shopped around and his estimates were lower than other quotes. I decided to go with Chapton based on reviews. I'm glad I did. After my garage was built, I went out to find someone to build my driveway. A few quotes later and I hired Chapton again. After the driveway was done, I asked for a quote on siding to match the garage and we agreed that his company would also be hired for my siding. He even went above and beyond to help with the odd sizing of the soffit put together by the previous owner. This was all done in a few months. I'm happy with his work and have not had an issue yet!“
