Bob's Transmissions-West Michigan

My truck blew a transmission a few weeks ago; Bob and his team worked super hard and got it right after they made a communication error between the repair shop and the transmission shop on who was doing what. While it was frustrating and I made that clear, he handled it with grace and that alone is the reason I'll be taking my vehicles back there. Heck of a job on a tight timeline and that stuff is in short order these days. Thanks, Bob and team!

Recently had my transmission rebuilt here and was VERY happy with the services. The shop Manager is awesome and "Al" who apparently works as a technition was especially helpful in answering all of my questions. HIGHLY recommend this shop. 100%

Bob's replaced my transmission. A few days later, my car stopped starting. Obviously, this was suspicious, but you know, car starting has little to do with the transmission. But I asked them to take a look anyway, see if they bumped something. They fixed it for me, claimed it wasn't their fault, just an unfortunate coincidence, but they didn't charge me for it, which I really appreciate. That earned a 5th star for me. The transmission comes with 2 years warranty, but they assured me this issue was not under warranty, so i can only assume they did it for free because it was simple and to be nice.I think perhaps they could do a better job calling you about... read full review
