After several days of worry and a visit to emergency care, whose only solution was an antibiotic prescription, we bundled our 15-month-old son to head out into the dark on a cold winter Friday evening. Normally full of life and running around the house, our son was now in bed with a fever and barely moving when I called Dr. Ray at 6 pm hoping to reach him before he left the Center.
