The purpose of getting a home inpection is to know better what you're buying and to eliminate surprises, if possible. Furgeson Inspections was very good at doing that for us in our last home purchase in Houghton Lake. They confirmed the age and general condition of all the major systems of the house and identified some roofing damage and a poorly performing heating system. On Scott's recommendation, we got repair estimates from professional repair services for each problem area. Scott was thorough and very detailed throughout the inspection. He identified issues and documented them on his reports. I would definitely use Scott again if needed and would recommend to anyone looking for a qualified inspector.
