I made a last-minute late--in-the-day order for a delivery the next day for my sister, not only for her birthday but for completing a very difficult medical ordeal, an order that just couldn't be late...but surely would be, given the Dec. 23 snowstorm, right? Wrong! A big, gorgeous white, red, and pink bouquet arrived (she sent me a photo) coming 15 miles through A NEAR ZERO-DEGREE BLIZZARD! In a horse-drawn wagon! (kidding about the wagon.) Her husband sent me a picture of the big smile on her face.
