I’m a diamond member and shop here frequently, so I went back and forth on deciding to leave this review. Some of the employees are great.. others not. Especially a few that work the registers. And don’t let them think you asked to use more than one coupon, they will freak out. The last time I was in there I had a birthday coupon and the girl wanted to make sure I knew I couldn’t stack coupons. ( it’s happened multiple times before that as well) But you actually can when it comes to your birthday reward. This is honestly the worst Ulta every time I come here I have an issue. There’s only ever one person at the register and the line is insane. The staff I wouldn’t say is rude, but I can tell that they don’t want to be there. I can tell that they are overwhelmed, and they don’t want to deal with questions.
My sister purchased an item that came with a free gift. They gave her the wrong gift. We had to go back in and tell them what the gift was in order for them to give us a correct thing. It took 2 employees to figure out what we were talking about when it is advertised everywhere.
My husband, baby and I went into Ulta on a whim. I’m not confident in applying makeup up and only wear mascara and eyeshadow. The manager, Mia, approached us and was phenomenal. I had been wanting makeup and perfume for years now, but was intimidated by the large selection. Mia made me feel seen and understood as a new mom trying to glow up. Because of my lack of knowledge and her many years of experience, I purchased all of her recommendations. She was delightful.
