great experience!! dr.jacobs was great. i get overwhelmed sometime with my poor sight and he made me feel very comfortable and his staff was great as well!! thank you for helping me:)

I am extremely pleased with the kind, professional service I received today. After being examined at another large practice in East Lansing, I discovered their optometry department does not work with my insuramce. I quickly got online to find out who was in the area that accepted my insurance. I called and talked to Susan, telling her I had my prescription, and just needed to order some glasses. She assured me they could get me right in. I arrived within 5 minutes of speaking with Susan. She helped me pick out frames, offered to call the other practice I had just left to get an updated prescription for my occupational readers, and even talked to my old opthalmologist... read full review

I could tell shortly after my exam began—that East Lansing Family Eyecare was a professional atmosphere. I felt at ease with their attention to detail and the clean peaceful surroundings. I would highly recommend to someone hesitant about eye care—to make an appointment without delay.
