“My friend and I did a stay at the room here that was listed on AirBNB, which also gets you free admission into The Schvitz as well during your stay, so it was really cute! The room itself (a bedroom and a living room space) was super cutely decorated and the perfect amount of room for the two of us doing an overnight stay. The overall Convent space is pretty interesting and unlike anywhere I've ever stayed before. The downstairs space is a very large rooms/event spaces that are all decorated with bits of art from local artists that you can purchase and is independently run from the AirBNB. There was an event they were setting up for in the downstairs space for later that evening when we showed up and I believe the event happened and was taken down in the span of time it took for us to go out to dinner and come back, so that was interesting lol! The upstairs space is a long hallway with various different businesses in rooms on either side of the hall, with the high majority of these businesses focused on holistic healing and arts. My friend and I took advantage of our close proximity to these businesses and booked individual sessions with an energy healer that did energy readings of us, which was very enlightening for the both of us! The bathroom for the AirBNB is communal and located at the end of the hallway on this second floor closest to the AirBNB, but I assume that everyone in the building can access it as it has two stalls, two sinks, and a shower if you're so inclined as well. All in all, it was a good experience and I'm glad to have done it, but I don't know that I would personally do it again. I felt a steady level of anxiousness the entire time I was here, which I'm not entirely sure where that came from, but I think I could just chalk it up to me being in a space where I didn't feel completely safe even though there wasn't anything specific that made me feel unsafe here by any means. I just felt a tiny bit on edge the entire time I was here.“

“Highly, highly recommend Bree! I can not speak highly enough of her. She is incredibly kind and extremely talented. I was a little nervous to get my foot tattoo even though I have about 12 other pieces, but the whole experience was phenomenal and not as painful as I thought! Her and her apprentice were very attentive and caring, a dream tattoo shop experience in itself. You can really tell the effort she put into learning and perfecting her craft. I drove an hour to get tattooed and would recommend everyone and their mother looking to get tattooed to check out Bree!!“

“I absolutely love traditional tattoos and after serving in the military and getting away from military towns it was very hard to find an artist and shop I would give my business to. A family friend had recommended Martin at Grand Blvd Tattoo and I’m glad he did. Absolutely amazing establishment. Martin’s communication and professionalism leading up to my appointment is second to none. He answered all my questions in a timely manner and at this point I knew I was in good hands. Appointment day, I show up, explain what I want and he worked with me making sure what I envisioned was what I got. The shop environment is very warm and welcoming, the staff there is friendly and Martin was as professional in person as he was via messaging. Very clean place, very by the books in terms of set up, sanitation and tattoo aftercare. I always respect artists who respect the craft and take pride in their work. This place is second to none and i absolutely have no problem going back for the rest of the work I get over my lifetime. My piercer (whose name I unfortunately do not remember but he had dreads!) was very knowledgeable and the shop was extremely clean!<br><br>Cleanliness: The shop was very clean and my piercer was hygienic and washed their hands and took great care to make sure my piercings and jewelry were clean!“

“I had seen the work of the artist Motown via social media and knew that Motown would do the piece my daughter wanted for her birthday present. I knew that I wanted a cover of an existing tattoo that I'd grown to despise. She talked out my idea and got to work immediately sketching my art and tweaking it to my liking.
