“After thinking about getting a pixie cut for about 15 years I finally took the plunge yesterday with Ash. I was nervous for a big change but I'm so glad I took the leap! The cut looks great, and it's obvious that Ash is super knowledgeable, explaining everything to me at each step and making sure I got a cut best suited for my hair texture and growth pattern.

I'm still adjusting to my new look but I feel great and free and like I'm a step closer to figuring out what it means to be me.

“My daughter booked an appointment for her prom on a Thursday not realizing Ryan was off that day. She was automatically put on a waitlist. The morning of her prom she came up to me and said mom I never got a confirmation. I panicked called and emailed. Ryan ended up returning my call. I think he panicked a little as well then took care of the situation. He quickly turned to the next solution which was recommending a different salon. Then he remembered his assistant Zee lived close by and she might be able to come over. She ended up calling me and we scheduled an appointment later that afternoon. Zee was amazingly helpful, she took care of my daughter not leaving one strand out place. Village Parlor took charge of what could have been a stressful day and turned it into the most beautiful day ever!!! Thank you and I will never forget what the 2 of you did. God bless you both!!!!“

“1st time there and would highly recommend. Self care is health care and they do it all here. Amazing atmosphere and customer service. They took me as a walk in, but they do suggest you make an appointment. Haircut, hot towel, razor, steam facial. I was curious about a men's pedicure and they accommodated me right away. Treat yourself and support this black owned business in the fashion district. We need more of this.“
