My friend and I had a great experience with Kay alongside four other folks in a personal and fun wheel throwing workshop. Kay was welcoming and created an accessible experience for us. Would highly recommend!

In love with this studio. Kay is an incredible teacher and is so welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxed and easy going, but Kay is right there to check in and help out—perfect setting for learning. After only my second 2 hour wheel throwing workshop I have created pieces I am proud of (something I couldn’t accomplish in a whole semester of high school ceramics). It’s definitely time for me sign up for classes and keep soaking this wonderful place up.

Art in Motion offers ceramic classes and a creative outlet to those not afraid to get their hands dirty (with clay)! Kay is a wonderful, patient teacher and artist. My children have loved working with her during the summer.
