Westborn Flower Market

I don't always get to shop at Westborn Market, but when I do, I have a blast! I go to Dearborn sporadically, and always find myself stopping here to enjoy this beautiful grocer. It's a more custom grocer, and they have a wonderful selection of produce, deli items, meats and seafood. But the flowers here are fantastic! The layouts pretty decent and they have a large product range of items to choose from. Their prices are competitive but not overly expensive. Since I live far away, I usually don't buy anything like meats or perishables because it's to far of a drive. I love that they have a great selection of items here and I could be a regular if there was one in my area. They have fresh made hummus, middle eastern foods, the whole thing. The staff here seems friendly but I haven't had much interaction with them, so I can't say one way or the other. Very clean store, well stocked and a great addition to the metro Detroit area.

I love Westborn market, I've been going there for many years, I go here every week to get my steaks, and their seafood, Louie, and some other things that I would never buy at Meijers or places like that!! Everybody here is always friendly, especially the guy that works in the produce, it's always a pleasure to see him!! The one thing I do not like at Westborn is every time I go in there in the fruits and vegetable section, there is always some old person with their fingers picking through the grapes and cherries and taken what they want and putting what they don't want in another bag, that is disgusting to me, when they had the olive bar where you could get your own, I seen a little girl sticking her fingers in the olive juice and then sucking on her fingers and then putting her fingers back in the juice and do it again, that must be the reason why you can't get your own olives there anymore!! other than that I love this place!!!

In honor of yesterday, April 2nd, being produce manager appreciation day, I wanted to give a shout out to the produce manager Marvin. He has worked there for many many years and always treats customers with kindness, laughter, and professionalism. Westborn is a great customer experience time and time again because of Marvin. Marvin, you are appreciated!!!!
