“So I finally had to leave a review after going here for over a year. I don’t know how I got so lucky finding this place (I don’t have experience with many other tanning salons), but it was super close to my home & my experience has been nothing short of amazing. Every single staff member that I have talked to has been friendly, warm and informative. They are super fast and everything is kept so clean. But the cherry on top are the PRICES & DEALS that they offer through the year. Keep an eye out for their deals (usually 4th of July & Black Friday) for 50% off yearly memberships. I only spray tan because I am taking care of my skin, but I love that this salon is being progressive and now they have 2 spray tan booths :) their new one is very high-end and such a simple & fast process. Motor city tan also has lots of nice tanning products which also have rotating discounts. I recommend this salon to all of my friends, and so many of my friends drive 20+ minutes to come here.Overall very happy with this gem!“

“I love using the stand-up tanning bed here. The prices aren't bad and the bed works great. It's overall a nice place with quite a lot of other beds. The staff here is decently friendly. The only few complaints I have are these: 1- they need a better fan in there. I get out of there sooo hot and a better fan is really needed. Sometimes it is so hot in there, especially if it's been used a lot in a row, that it's enough to make you feel sick. 2- they do not do a great job of cleaning in there. At least in the stand-up one, inside the room all along the edges the floor is nasty and dirty and looks like it hasn't been swept in quite some time. 3-there is only 1 stand-up bed. So I end up waiting quite often. 4- no way to play music in there either. Gotta just play your music on the phone which sucks with all that noise. Wish they would figure out the Bluetooth option in there. But all in all still worth going for sure.“
