I hired Great Lakes to add dirt in my backyard (18 yards) and to construct a paver patio next to my deck. What a project!! Laura did a great job explaining what was needed and how it would be done. Paul (the foreman) and his crew were great. They were very kind, hard-working and very professional and willing to help if I had any issues. I would give them 5 stars and highly recommend them for landscaping projects.Services: Patio design

Disappointing. Initial budget quote $1,500; formal quote $5,000, ended up over $7,000; Added 60 yards of topsoil & sod, and some 2" stone work. Apparently soil was not compacted in some areas; (even though it was brought up when they were half done) it was 'mushy' for a month, now lumpy. Many gaps in the sod; weeds have filled the gaps. Laura promised they would return to fix a month ago; not fixed and no returned calls . . .The crew worked very hard, but I think they were under the gun to get the (big) job done in one day.Service: Gardening services
