I was a son at a American league post and just moved to the area. I walked in and immediately said I need to join. I don't have any of my dad's paperwork so John who by the way is the nicest guy is going to see about getting me in. And thank you Gary, a very cool man sitting at the bar for buying me a beer. Fingers crossed I can become a member.
Made me feel welcomed. Been to a lot of vfws some good, and some bad. This post is one of the good ones.They serve meals on certain days and special occasions when out of town veterans come in for the National Home. Have activities and prizes from time to time.
