I did spend time searching for a company to build our retaining wall. My search led me to Seaside Seawalls & from start to finish, we would recommend this company.
I have read some of the reviews & am a bit surprised. We found the excellent work they did involves things such as; Operating Heavy Machinery Equipment & Repair in a confined work area, labor intensive to say the least, mentally challenging, having experience, safety, these are traits they had.

I read a couple of very well-written but very negative reviews on this site about this company that nearly had me crossing them off my list of prospective contractors. However, I've been around long enough to realize that "bad reviews" are never just a one-sided story and many times are written by people with an axe to grind. I also recognize quality people and work when I see it. When I observed the care and quality of work Aaron and his crew were doing for my neighbor and watched the entire process carefully, I decided to ignore the bad reviews I had seen. And I am so glad that I did!

I was looking for an alternative to boulder and/or decorative block retaining walls. I called Seaside and had them provide a quote for a steel z-channel retaining wall for my driveway. Aaron, from Seaside, even came out a second time and answered all my questions regarding the installation. Upon agreeing on an install date, the Seaside crew showed up as promised, were courteous and professional, and completed the job on schedule. I even decided to add-on to the wall after the fact, and again they were able to come out promptly to complete the work. I would highly recommend Seaside for your alternative retaining wall needs!
