I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Dr. Michael Freedland and his entire team. From the very first consultation, I felt heard, understood, and completely cared for. One week post op from my mommy makeover. As a clinician myself in emergency medicine I typically see the complications from surgeons and was incredibly nervous to have anything done myself. I had multiple consultations and chose Dr. Freedland without hesitation. I can’t say enough about his expertise, incision techniques, post-op pain management, the office staff, his surgical team and most of all my results. His bedside manner is impeccable. He spent almost an hour answering each and every one of mine and my husband’s (who is not clinical) questions at my consultation. Day of surgery he broke all of my pre-op fears with witty banter with myself and the nurses while discussing my legitimate concerns of downtime and more clinical questions I had come up with since I last saw him. From initial consult to post-op visit 1 he made me feel like his only patient and from a clinical perspective, I truly appreciated his attention to detail and personalizing care. One of my major concerns was post-op infection because I’m on a medication that suppresses my immune system. He was so receptive and appropriately managed my care pre-operatively, made sure I had antibiotics intra-operatively and an extended course afterwards. Prior to surgery, I had lost 150 pounds, had 3 babies all of whom were breastfed and an emergency c-section. I feel like a new woman and I’ll forever be grateful to him and his wonderful staff ♥️
