John Gifford has practiced specialized massage therapies including Bonnie Prudden Myotherapy for over 37 years and has performed over forty-thousand sessions of hands on muscle care. He is a continuing education provider, has authored several books on stretching and self care and is a professional speaker and past ethics committee board member for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. He is the author of several stretching books including his latest book Essential Stretches You’ll Actually Use. He gives back to the community through Mr. Gifford’s Story Sandwich in which has provided over 1,000 classroom visits of theatrical reading to expand literacy in young children by creating a passion for stories.
