Updated 2024- Great place to train! Especially impressed with the atmosphere for women; lots of ladies training jiu jitsu and very positive attitudes. Nice space in the locker rooms too. I have trained at URSA for the last year and I have really loved it! It has a welcoming environment where it feels like everyone wants to help you learn. URSA also has tremendous coaching staff!

I initially came in for the "free" fundamentals course and was hooked the first day. If you love the endorphins you get from working out, this is perfect. It is the best way to release stress from the day. I feel the classes are taught at steady pace, not too slow or too fast. Once moving up from fundamentals, I found that there was a mutual understanding of not getting injured, no big egos and that we are all learning together which reduced any nervousness or doubts that I had. Big shout out to Professor Kris and all staff, thanks for the great experience.
