Planned Parenthood - Power Family Health Center

Was referred to the Ann Arbor location after a failed iud placement at the Ferndale location. My experience at the Ann Arbor facility was great. Dr. Crissman was so kind, gentle and knowledgeable. Every staff I interacted with made me feel safe and cared for. The facility also had sedation as an option for the iud insertion which made the whole process essentially painless. Great facility and staff.

I’m using a fake profile for my own personal reasons, but today I had a surgical abortion from this planned parenthood. I was so incredibly nervous, and the staff here couldn’t have made me feel better. My doctor, sarah, was amazing. She talked me through the entire thing and made me comfortable and ensured I knew I was in control the whole time. The nurse with red hair was like my guardian angel. She held my hand the entire time and wiped my tears. I couldn’t have asked for a better care team. THANK YOU!!

I had the delight of having Dr Crissman as my OBGYN at this location, I was very nervous and when she walked in the room I felt a sense of relief and my gut telling me I was in good hands. Her and the nurse I had were amazing. The nurse held and rubbed my hand during the discomfort of the transvaginal probe. They were awesome.

Beware of the protesters in blue acting as volunteers (real volunteers are rainbow), I was almost tricked. They try to make up stories to make you think something is happening at the location to get you to cancel your appointment. Ignore them.
