A fairly sizable (65 acres) and historical cemetery located in the heart of Ann Arbor.
The first burial of the over 19,000 in total was Dr. Benajah Ticknor a former Navy surgeon in 1959. The cemetery is aesthetically pleasing with its rolling topography and plenty of shade trees.
Convenient location only a stone's throw away from campus with a variety of unit options. Was hoping to see some ghosties ?, but the friendly staff guy (thanks mr. angeles!!! ) said they were on sabbatical *sigh*. I did get to see a wild squirrel tho so it was totes worth it! ?
You WILL get wet so def bring a poncho!!!
large cemetery well maintained and lots of history to see. Tons of construction in Ann arbor while we were visiting so it took some rerouting and configuring to find an open entrance
