Dr. Grusling was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. She had a way of laying out the facts while also putting my mind at ease. The clinic is set against a picturesque farm which is calming. The vet assistant and front office staff were welcoming and competent.
We switched to Thornwood Vet Clinic during the last few months of our 15+ year old dog's life as we were unsatisfied with the care provided by our prior vet. Thornwood Vet offered new suggestions and treatments to help with our dog's many health issues and also eased us into acceptance when it was time to say goodbye. I can't say enough good things about the care and support we received from everyone at the clinic. And the physical setting is so peaceful and beautiful. Thornwood Vet made a difficult journey much more manageable for us and we are incredibly grateful.
I've been going to Thornwood for 6+ years now with 4 different dogs. They have been absolutely wonderful. They are quick to respond, anytime I call or email. Whenever my dogs have had something unexpected going on, they will usually get them in to be seen that day, which is not the norm for other clinics. Heather and Samantha are the best techs, they are so easy to work with. Dr. G and Dr. Deny are easy to talk to and will always give their honest opinion. I don't feel they try to push unnecessary things on you, as some places do, which I really appreciate.
