She helped us with the design and tile selection for our bathroom remodel and offered tips and ideas that we had not thought of, which was super helpful. As others have reported, this store has the most gorgeous tile and the broadest selection one can imagine. With that said, we won't be going back due to how rude the woman working in the store is. We had this experience a couple of years ago when tiling our hearth, but assumed it was a fluke. We went back today because we're starting a bathroom remodel, but the woman was just as rude as she was a couple of years ago. When we told her that we wanted to look around, she just stared at us for several seconds before apparently giving us permission. I'm disappointed to see that the owner knows that this is happening, but is not making any changes as a result of the reviews left on this site. With sadness for the loss of access to such beautiful tile, we'll take our business elsewhere. I can't imagine why anyone would want to go through life with such a sour attitude.

Over the last 4 years I've had the pleasure of working with Larry and the Distinctive Tile team in three of my residences, as well as watching them work with 4 of my friends' homes that I had referred to DT&D. In all cases the design, product and workmanship (including the repair of a previous vendor's installation) have more than met my expectations - so I'll continue to use their expertise, as well as recommend them to others.
