Back in August, I hobbled into School Street Yoga for a gentle yoga class after spending almost 18 months on the couch from back-to-back ankle injuries. I have never been so weak and out of shape, and to be honest, it was a little bit frightening. Just getting out of bed hurt most days. I was determined to get back in touch with my body, starting with two classes a week. Ten weeks later, I’m practicing five times a week, seeing steady progress, and feeling SO good. Many thanks and lots of love to my yoga angel, Kathleen, and her wonderful faculty.

I was in town for business and attended School Street Yoga's Yin class. It was fantastic. This class was unique in that the postures are held for 3 to 5 minutes. The instructor, Susan, offered a variety of options for any flexibility level and went around the room to help make adjustments as needed. The class was so relaxing. And since I was out of town, they were even able to recommend a great place for dinner after class! I will definitely return if I am ever in town again.
