The group here is great! My dog had a run-in with a porcupine on Saturday night and they were able to get him seen and treated quickly. Meredith was really helpful and very clear in her communication. Felt like my dog was in good hands and they had us out in short order. Highly recommend

We were here twice from out of state for our dog during a vacation where more things went wrong than right. All staff were kind and courteous. We’ve been to an emergency vet in our home state and our experience here was exponentially better. I truly don’t know how this vet only has 4 stars.

I love them, we drive 2 hours whenever my senior dog needs to get seen for urgent situations. The only other emergency vet near us does not treat their patients with the standard of care or compassion any vet should. But Midcoast is always incredibly kind, understanding, comfortable, and does nice work. They also always communicate with our regular vet so files are synchronized perfectly. The vet assistants and vets are wonderful, so kind and they let me cry my heart out over my sweet girl. But I especially enjoy the very kind male receptionist there.
