I took my lace wedding dress to the 2 best rated tailors in Boston, no exaggeration, both made Best of Boston and they both were extremely disappointing. I frantically emailed Sarah 4 days before my wedding because I had finally given up when the last tailor STILL after 4 fittings didn't get my train correct. Sarah calmly took my dress and made it beautiful. She fixed everything and redid much of the work that was sloppily done from before. I swear that it looked like a different more beautiful dress once Sarah had it for 48 hours. I recommend any bride getting married between Boston and Portland, ME to come to Sarah if you want your dress to be in the best hands.“

“this is a small shop, it is pricey, and the wait times can be a bit long. know all of that and still know that this is the best place to bring your treasured items for altering. I brought a beautiful deep purple leather coat in that i bought during an italy trip almost 25 years ago. it had a couple cat scratches on the back, and the sleeves needed lengthening to fit my youngest. the tailor found a perfect black leather to add to the sleeves, repaired the scratches and added a strengthening seam around the tears so that lots of love and use wouldn't stretch and open them again. we were blown away by the quality of the work and it was worth every penny to make this jacket wearable again“
