Classes here are great-there is something for everyone. Varying levels of difficulty based on teachers/classes.They also focus highly on alignment-I have learned so much on how to do yoga properly and prevent injury.Interesting flows-no boring sun salutations on repeat here. To everyone at GPY, you all are simply the best! You offer so many different and complimentary ways to practice yoga. You have a truly wonderful and diverse set of instructors. You have two locations and a schedule that allows yogis to practice all throughout the day. Thank you for the April challenge month - participating has been a gift.Namaste.
Greener postures studio was my safe haven when I was going through a difficult period in my life. The studio, teachers, & community was a sacred place that allowed me to practice feeling, being mindful, & learning to love myself through each posture, thought, or emotion. This community set me on a positive trajectory where asana practice, breath work, & community continues to be a core part of my everyday like more than ten years later. Every chance I get to visit Portland, along with oysters & lobster rolls, I make GPY a priority stop. Definitely a place that feels like home--I hope it does to you too!
