“When I arrived to Portland, I had trouble finding a reliable barber. I had tried three different places and asked for a simple medium fade, only to be left like I was wearing a beret. When I tried Wards and had an appointment with Alex, i couldn’t have been happier. “I came to Meghan with a hair disaster! There was a color explosion on my head with a lot of miscommunication from a few other stylists that left me with a platinum blonde money piece, about 2 inches of black, and drab brown in the back - none of what I asked for. The first time I saw Meghan, she was able to tone down the money piece and get rid of the black so I could get through the week. The following week I went back and she was able to give me exactly what I was originally looking for - brown with a sunkissed look! She was a lifesaver! I would highly recommend Meghan for any hair coloring or cut! Thank you!“

“I got my first haircut with Justin in preparation for a work trip and I was so impressed with the experience for a variety of different reasons. When I walked in, Justin was cutting another person's hair. He took the time to greet me and the way in which he did made me feel instantly welcome. I enjoyed a nice window seat looking out on Fore Street below while I waited. When it came time for my haircut, Justin was helpful in offering some styling tips. I appreciated the focus and attention he brings to his work. I was very happy with the results and will look forward to returning in the future when I am in Portland!“

“Today had a unique experience:My usual barber, Leesa Maria, was sick and I accepted to have my haircut with Catherine l, whom I never met before.She was attentive & pleasant, asked the typical initial questions about my expectations for the haircut. In the moment she started it was obvious she had limited experience and was tying her best to provide a hair cut to the Salon's standards.I was worried all along, until, Catherine positively surprised me, asked for help from another barber, describing what was challenging her.The assistance received was essential for a totally satisfying haircut on my part.Great team work by an experienced professional helping a promising one to develop her potential.I apologize for not asking the helping barber's name or thanking her.“
