My prior eye care service relocated their Auburn office, So I decided to make a change and tried Advanced Clinical Eyecare of Maine's Auburn office. Staff was pleasant, organized and professional, minimal waiting time and easy new patient processing. Dr. Gandelman was thorough, including examination for diabetic related damage and the presence of cataracts. He offered very direct and easy to understand conclusions. Good people, nice place.
This is best place I have found locally to have eye exams and purchase contact lenses! I was down to my last pair of contacts and one needed replacement immediately. I was able to order a new box no problem and I was even offered a "trial pair" of contacts to get me by until my new box arrived! Very helpful! The optometrist that works here is great to work with! The facility looks new, clean, spacious, and professional. The only real complaint I might have is that the parking lot can be difficult to navigate. Other than that, 5 stars all around!PS: WE LOVE WILBER THE WAITING AREA DOG!!! ?
Having been a glasses wearer since 8 years old, I’ve seen a lot of eye docs. Dr. O is one of the most thorough and smart optometrists I’ve ever seen. I’ve had a few eye issues in the last year with styes etc and the office has always been able to fit me in for emergencies. Though there has been some change overs at the front desk, Dr. O has remained patient driven while guiding his team like a great leader.
