I had a massage with Molly. I very much enjoyed our pre-massage conversation. I was a little nervous due to a few issues I have. She was very professional and gave great advice. I learned a lot and will definitely go back. The salon is beautiful and the staff are all friendly. Well done Mint Salon Block!
We went to the Scarborough location because they had the most scheduling availability for my girls. There was an issue with my oldest daughters appointment (when I added the girls to my profile online to book the appointments, I didn’t realize that the system didnt just import my phone number to their profiles. The stylist she was supposed to be with wasn’t there anymore and they couldn’t call me to change her stylist etc.) They were so kind and worked so hard to find someone who could take her. Even though I feel like it’s a flaw with their online booking system, no one there created the system so it’s no fault on them. I was slightly annoyed at the situation, but not at all at them personally. They handled the situation so well! They were just so kind! I just think it’s so important to know how people handle a not ideal situation, and they handled it with pure grace and kindness! She was supposed to get a cut and partial highlight. Well no one had any time for both, but Jaclyn (may have misspelled, sorry!) was cutting my youngest daughters hair and had time to also cut my oldest daughters hair. She just didn’t have time for color. We LOVED her. My youngest has curly hair. I do not. I try to ask questions everywhere we go about her hair and things we can do to manage it. No one has ever taught us anything about care for curly hair. Well, she did! We learned a lot about curly hair management, she said there was another stylist in the building who knows even more, and as much as she wants to see us again she’d understand if we went to her. I think she has enough knowledge for us at least for now. Both of my daughters LOVED her as did I. I was able to book my daughters highlight for a few days later with her, and I booked an appointment for myself as well. We moved here from Texas several months ago and have missed the consistency of having “our stylist”, and now we have found one here! 5 stars, highly recommend!!
Lesley Gaudreau is an amazing stylist. I highly recommend her bio ionic hair straightening treatment. It's the only hair straightening system that has ever completely straightened my hair and made it glossy smooth. Thanks again Lesley Gaudreau.
