Maine Medical Center Scarborough Surgery Center

My 18 month old son had his ear tube surgery today, all the staff from the front desk to the nurses were amazing! We were pretty nervous about our kiddo having his first hospital experience (even though it was a very minor procedure), however all the staff made us feel right at home! They treated our little boy as one of their own!

My daughter had surgery today with Dr Abbott. From the moment we walked in at 6:15 until we left, we felt comfortable and welcomed and we knew what to expect. Liz started my daughter’s IV on the first try, and Tammy made sure we were ready to go home. Everyone was absolutely excellent and made a mom’s Heart a little less scared! This Center is beautiful and clean and so well run. And we are so fortunate to have it for sure!!!

Hip replacement surgery done today. From the moment I walked in at 7am until I got into the car early this afternoon, everyone was pleasant and welcoming.I met the members of my surgical team and they all took their time explaining what was going to happen and answering any questions I had.Dr. McGrory was my surgeon. He said he was going to take care of me and did!I would not hesitate to use this facility again or recommend it to others.Thank you all!
