Due to my own fault, my car was towed out of a parking lot in Rockland. I was picked up and brought to my vehicle on a Sunday by the owner who treated me very fairly, considering he had my car for a week. Five stars would have my car towed by best rates again just to be reminded that there are some decent people left in the world.Service: Car towing

I needed to move my antique VW van from Vinalhaven to Belfast recently. Best Rates new exactly how to handle the ferry system, sent a veteran driver who could not have been more friendly and professional, and safely delivered a 54 year old vehicle in good time. Their office staff/dispatcher was clear about what the tow would cost and there were no unpleasant surprises. Highly recommended for anyone needing a complex tow (or a simple one no doubt). Will use again if needed.

Strongly recommend! It's not every day someone raves about a tow guy, but my husband did. The owner arrived quickly and made the towing process easy and painless. When your car breaks down in traffic, having a company like this can make the difference in how good or bad your day feels.He gave us the recommendation of a mechanic, upon request, who we were also really happy with. And he was a comfortable personality to ride along with to the garage.My past couple of tows were by hung over curmudgeons and tweakers (elsewhere) whom I'd have felt a little uneasy riding with or hiring again.
