I traveled down for an urgent care extraction due to a broken tooth. They take 4’people on Tues and Thursdays at 8 am and 1 pm. It’s a first come first served visit. I paid $77 for the initial examination. The extraction, intramural Periapical, Panoramic radiographic image and it also covered my X-ray needed to complete the procedure. The student I was resigned to was from the Dominican Republic and was very strong and used precision pulling techniques! A second student (both from 3rd year class) assisted her and the Dentist does consult thru the stages. Bravo for not much pain at all… so far. About 1/2 the cost of the local dentist.

Plan on 2 or 3 hours for basic service and a cleaning.
Well worth it, service is top notch. All the latest and best equipment. Better x-rays than I got when I had top notch insurance and payed more as a copay than the cash price at UNE.
Most appointments (pediatric side) will be a second year and a third year student teamed up with a dude older and wiser than Yoda overseeing the whole deal.

I have never felt better at a dentist than I did there, we chatted about our home life to keep the mood calm and not so professional. I had students working on me and I would’ve never known that they were only students if they didn’t tell me in the beginning. Before moving onto any next steps they double checked with both of the dentists who... read full review
