Always a friendly place to get a reasonably priced haircut. I found this place about 6 months ago and have never had a bad haircut. Highly recommend! Call ahead though because it's always busy!
I’ve been getting my hair cut at Forest Ave Barber Shop for almost 20 years. Cindy and Courtney are not only talented barbers but also just great all around people. The environment is great, it’s always spotless clean and they make you feel like family every time you walk through the door. They’re also both incredible with kids, extremely down to Earth, honest and hardworking. I’d highly recommend Forest Ave Barber Shop to anyone, especially if you’re a person like I am who loves close knit neighborhood places.
I'm transgender and have always struggled finding a place to get a haircut and have been hesitant to go to a barber shop for fear of being turned away. After reading reviews for this place I gave it a shot and was delighted. I'll definitely be back! The atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting and conversation was easy, which is a big deal for me!
