“We have gone here a few times so far with at least two of our cats (we have 8 of them so sometimes details are hard to recall). We first tried calling vets in our own area but they either weren't taking new pets or were scheduling months in advance. So we drive farther to get to Lakeside, but we are satisfied with them. The appointments haven't been too far in the future and we have liked the people we have spoken to so far. They are observing pandemic protocols, which are fine with me. You wait outside and let them know you are there, and someone comes out to talk to you and get your critter. Then an assistant or even the doctor comes out to talk to you. We needed a prescription for insulin for our Sunny Jim, and it was easy to arrange through Chewy.com. I can edit this review at a later date if I need to add details about the quality and cost of care over a longer term, but we are satisfied now and don't expect to be disappointed later. At this point I wouldn't even switch to one of the local vets if they got less busy.“
