All the barbers at Hoppi's are fantastic. We live around the corner, and they've been cutting my teenaged son's hair since he was a toddler. We always let him describe what he wants for himself, and I think it's been different every time, from the arrow-shaped Airbender mohawk he got that one time when he was about 9, to the variations on “plain but cool” trims he's mostly had since. He's got curly hair that lays every which way, but he always comes home looking good—and feeling confident, so THANK YOU, HOPPI'S.

We highly recommend New England Tree Service for tree removal. We weren't asked to post a review but it was such an exceptional experience compared to other types of contractors we've hired in the past we felt compelled to. There was an enormous oak tree hanging over our house for years. We loved the tree but it was causing a lot of damage and we were increasingly worried it would fall on the house. The team did an outstanding job taking the tree down, doing their best to not damage other landscaping (thanks for saving the hydrangeas!) and did an awesome job cleaning up when they were done. New England Tree Service truly takes pride in their work. Thanks so much, guys!

We started using Brady for a weed problem in our mature landscape, as well as some hedge trimming and large hosta moving. He suggested and laid down a fabric layer in the topsoil that essentially made the weeds organically stop growing through it. We can easily pull the scant few weeds that do come up through it now. Made a huge difference. We now use him for full Spring and Fall Cleanups, high quality edging, shrub trimming, mulching, and weeding. He's amazing. Just when we think there's not a solution for something, he comes up with a creative idea. Hard working, ethical and honest. He just finished a large job for us and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend.
Our entire first floor in our York, Maine condo was destroyed by water damage that originated from an ice maker that malfunctioned. The services we received from Garvey Construction were excellent. Dan Garvey exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond what he was hired to do. Plus, he did all this during COVID. The damage to the condo was discovered in July of 2020 and completed in 2021. The team of people that worked on our residence were skilled and professional. I have been getting my hair done by Susan at Kiya Hair and Skin Studio for two years now and have never left her chair less than in love with my hair. My hair is very thick and curly, Susan always cuts and styles it perfectly. When I am not sure what I want to do with my hair she has the best suggestions, I trust her completely and she has never steered me wrong! The salon incredibly clean and so nice inside. With the help of Dr. Lebro my health has changed for the better far beyond my expectations! I contacted Dr. Lebro’s office after struggling to regulate my hormones from almost a decade of hormonal birth control. After a year of failed treatment plans from other doctors, I still had digestive issues, severe acne and a hormonal imbalance that would not go away no matter what I tried. Dr. Lebro truly cares for his patients by getting to the root of the problem and takes the time to educate and explain. After just one month of working with Dr. Lebro, my digestion is better than ever before, my acne is starting to clear and I have never felt better. I could not be happier with my experience and highly recommend him!
Dr. Laura and Amy, the vet-tech who dealt with Luca, were very caring and skilled in dealing with not only Luca, our anxious rescue Lab, but also me with my concerns and questions about his various issues and symptoms surrounding his Kennel Cough. Dr. Laura is always very thorough and informative regarding his care. Dr. Moffat, who has treated previous pets of ours, has also been very informative and compassionate, having come to our home to euthanize them when we needed that personal care provided. He's always gone the extra mile. My only concern regarding Kittery Animal Hospital is that on their receipt for services they do not automatically include detailed information about the reason for the visit, the diagnosis, and the treatment. I generally have to ask for these "soap notes" before and after a visit because they are required by Luca's pet insurance when submitting a claim. It's also helpful to have this written information, itemizing what was discussed with the Vet as part of my dog's medical record. So, it's basically a matter of providing a more inclusive, detailed form at checkout.
We are beyond grateful for the care our favorite family member received at PAH. Our pup had an unexpected emergency, and they were able to expertly handle the situation with so much compassion. The vet that we have used in the past did not have the ability to perform the emergency surgery our sweet girl needed, and after one quick phone call, we were on our way to PAH. I am so very glad we ended up here! Every single staff member we have dealt with has been top-notch! (The Vets, the clinical staff, and the reception staff) It feels like they love our sweet girl as much as we do.(Love this!!) Even though a scary awful situation brought us to PAH, we have now switched to PAH as our full-time vet, and we couldn't be happier!!!

I called Sugarz out of the blue one day to cut my bangs that were poking my eyes. Marlene (shop owner) told me she could see me that day (a dream come true). I went into her cute shop in Kittery and was pleasantly greeted and bangs were trimmed in no time flat! Needless to say, before I left I scheduled a full cut and color in the next week and have been returning regularly to Marlene since then. I’ve also recommended Sugarz to another friend who has had great success, as well. Marlene is always welcoming, asking how I liked the last hairstyle/color, looks at the color and makes easy adjustments if needed. Marlene is also a treasure of local history which I love to hear about. Keep on, keeping on, Marlene!

Tim and the entire staff were pleasant, professional, and great to work with. They worked with us through our entire wedding planning process and gave guidance on items you may not think about when planning a wedding/large event. We had to move our wedding from a Saturday to Sunday at the last minute due to weather and they were flexible and made it happen.
