After a horrible experience with Canada’s “healthcare” it was very refreshing to get a very warm and quick care here. While on vacation in Canada my 2 yr old son had a cut on his forehead and took him to emergency but even after 6 hours of waiting, we gave up and because we were returning to the states the next day we googled the first hospital across the border and found this amazing community hospital. I called them and explained my situation and they were more than willing to see my son. As soon as we reached, the receptionist took just basic info and guided us to the physician. I have Worked in healthcare for eight years and I have to say we received some of the best care ever! we traveled a very long way to Jackman on vacation and my little boy woke up very sick one morning and couldn't breathe. After googling hospitals and clinics I found them and gave them a call. They were waiting for us at the door to take my son and treat him immediately. I was so very impressed. They loved on him, made him feel comfortable and safe Brought us books to read and gave us toys to play with. Incredible people. So thankful. Absolutely incredible nurse and physician.
