Dr. Gilmore is one of the best I have ever been to. Her knowledge, care...amazing! The entire staff is wonderful and always ready to help.This is a space of qualified individuals who not only listen, they hear!

I can't even express how grateful I am for Hersey Eye Care - I think I smiled my whole way home! After having a less than ideal experience with another local optical company, my visit with Dr. Gilmore was so REFRESHING! She listened to me, addressed all of my concerns, was SO efficient and helped me understand WHY I was experiencing some of my symptoms. She was so patient, yet efficient, and helped me understand my options while also offering her professional opinion. Thank you Dr. Gilmore & Hersey Eye Care!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Hersey and Dr. Gilmore for years when they were located in the Bangor Mall location. They are absolutely the best and I highly recommend. The only reason for the 4 star review is with the Hermon office staff when I called. It’s very difficult to get through to a person and if you leave a message, it’s typically a case of phone tag but they do call you back. It’s not convenient, but I understand providers are extremely busy right now. Additionally, they’re a busy location because the docs are great, but appointments are far out.
